A 17 year veteran of San Francisco's notorious Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc., Roma! has been on the front lines in the ongoing battle against HIV and AIDS. With her Sisters, Roma! has worked tirelessly to raise consciousness as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity.

An avid activist, writer and public speaker, Roma! gained national attention when she developed a "safe house" program and whistle distribution campaign in response to a rise in reported hate crimes against lesbians and gays. As a published columnist Roma's unique perspective and sharp wit has touched readers around the country for more than six years and she is often called upon to speak at colleges and universities and on national television and radio on issues ranging from HIV to the politics of drag.

As one of San Francisco's most colorful personalities, Roma! is a regular hostess and MC, appearing every year on the main stages of the San Francisco Pride Celebration, The Folsom Street Fair and Halloween in the Castro addressing crowds often estimated to number 200,000 - 300,000. Roma! has been a regular guest on morning radio, appeared in two mainstream and three XXX movies, on television shows and been featured in three MTV music videos (one of which was banned by the network from U.S. distribution for portraying acts of homosexuality and drug use).

Currently she is the co-host of the Tim and Roma! Show, a live format internet talk-show covering the adult entertainment industry - something she is all too familiar with as the Art Director for Hot House Entertainment, the leading producer of XXX all-male adult entertainment.
